About Insight Counseling Associates, LLC:
A general counseling service located in Springfield, Missouri that opened in September of 2009 by Jim Harris, PhD, LPC. We help with family conflict, depression, sexual addiction, anxiety, divorce, mood disorders, suicidal thoughts, and more.
About Jim Harris:
He was ordained in 1984 and served as a youth pastor. He pastored for six years in California, taught for four years as an adjunct instructor in Behavioral Sciences at Evangel College, and taught as an adjunct professor in Counseling and Family Therapy at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary before joining the full-time faculty. Professor Harris is a licensed professional counselor in Missouri and a clinical member of the American Association for Marital and Family Therapy (AAMFT). He worked for several years in inpatient psychiatric hospitals. Dr. Harris currently maintains Insight Counseling Associates and specializes in marital and family therapy, depression, and sexual addiction.
